The Mighty Mau5 has been taken in by the DUBside of the force. "Raise Your Weapon" is one of the tracks on Deadmau5’s new album 4 x 4 = 12 LP. The angelic vocals by Greta Svabo Bech are dope and its great to see one of the leading electro artists getting into abit of dubstep. I think its an incredible track and can't wait to hear the whole album. All the touring with Skrillex must be rubbing off. Dubstep FTW.

Best New Artist Of 2010 - SKRILLEX

Sonny Moore (A.K.A Skrillex) is an LA based Ex-Metalcore singer turned Dj. His latest EP Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites (Mau5trap) is AMAZING to say the least. Over the last month he has become one of my favourite electronic artists, his style of music is exactly what I would like to produce if i was to become a Dj. The majority of his work Sounds like if Wolfgang Gartner made dubstep on Speed with a bit of Deadmau5 & Owl City sprinkled in.
Sonny recently demolished the Beatport Charts taking up 8 spots on the top ten Download list. He's managed to transfer the explosive energetic urgency you get in heavy metal - metalcore bands into his own blend of Dubstep and Electro with a glitch and fidget element. Skrillex has managed to create a perfectly distinctive, beautifully monstrous sound and If he keeps this up he has the potential to become one of the main players in the electronic music scene.

Anyone whose been to Zirca on a weekend or Butterfactory back in the day would most certainly recognize Singapore's biggest name in the club scene. an undoubted talent with an undoubtable sound, when this guy works his magic on dub it comes with a health disclaimer. the interchanging flow between chill and hectic makes this a real winner for me and I highly recommend that all listeners enjoy the full length of it.

On July 24th 2010, tragedy struck the world famous love parade as a stampede killed 21 and injures another 510. A month down the line, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren collaborate as DJ's United, releasing a track in memory of the love parade victims. Remember Love.

Party people unite! and dance in memory of those who fell doing what they loved.

Unfortuntately for some of us who had the love parade on our must attend list, will have to cross it off as the organisers have announced that they wont be holding the event anymore, in respect of those who passed away.
