Wolfgang Gartner - Weekend In America

This album is on another level. Intricate melodies, innovative synth lines and even some rapping. Wolfgang really steps up his game and I must say this is the best Dance album of the year so far.

The strong rap influence on the album is down to Wolfgangs love of rap music. I wasnt fully on board at first but after a few listens - It totally works.
(There's a track with Will.i.am which i haven't listened to and never will)

The extensive hours in the studio making these tracks have paid off and this album will now break him into the mainstream.

Weekend In America is party-rocking, speaker-blasting magic.

Still not sure which is my fave track yet, there are too many!

Pick N Mix [Vol. 8]

Lots of favourite artists today! Zeds Dead brings the filth as usual, RAC sprinkles their magic touch on two tracks and the Lauryn Hill bootleg could bring back some Nostalgia.

Porter Robinson - Spitfire

Electro Prodigy Porter Robinson released his album "Spitfire" recently on Skrillex's OSWLA label. Only a few original tracks on the record but there are some good remixes from the likes of Knife Party and Kill the Noise. Overall a very impressive album.

Justice - Helix

Finally, the B side to Audio, Video, Disco has been released on soundcloud for our aural pleasure. I gotta say i've yet to be really blown away by the new stuff. Civilization was great but AVD and Helix are very mediocre for their standards.
Still waiting for a DVNO, Stress, phantom, D.A.N.C.E, Nazareth, Genesis - I could go on all day.
I really hope the rest of the album will be significantly better than their releases so far..

Cross was just too fucking good and unfortunatley I doubt it will ever bettered :(
Please pleaseplease prove me wrong.

Baba O'riley in the breakdown. Mega rock influences. Standard Justice.

Skrillex - Love in motion

New Skrillex remix released today. Buy it on Beatport!!

LOVE it. Listening to the original gives you a better understanding of how good this remix is.
Sonny turns a chilled out funky track into an electro banger. Genius.
No offence to SebastiAn his original is still an excellent song but I just love how contrasting the remix is.

I want Moar.

Pick N Mix [Vol. 7]

David Guetta is a poof. After hearing a few mixed reviews about his latest album I decided to give it a listen. The first cd is absolute rubbish but the second had one or two decent tracks, which I have posted. Theres a great Electro track in Toy Story and surprisingly awesome acid house in Glasgow. Also check out the vocals of Sia in Titanium. At the end of the day the guy makes people dance and he broadens the depth of the dance music audience, so I guess he deserves a little credit..

Tiesto is another artist I do not admire but his track maximal crazy is listenable. The rest of the tracks are mostly Trance which there has been a lack of recently, Im beginning to drift further away from the genre.

Justice - Audio, Video, Disco

Not sure how or where this surfaced from, but here's a little preview of the most eagerly anticipated album of the year. Really bad quality but who's complaining!?

Can't wait for the Album!!!!! ✝✝✝ ✞✞✞✞ ✟✟✟

Block Rockin Beats [Vol.1]

Skylar Grey along with fellow vocalist Wynter Gordon, seem to be relishing in the rising popularity of dance music. Loving the vocals on their tracks.

My current Fave Alvin Risk destroys again with his latest remix and Kaskade has been getting plenty of airtime since his infamous Hollywood Bloc Party.

Dodge & Fuski give an old skool Guetta sample some much need filth and Feed Me unveils a new one.
