Bangers & Mash [Vol. 4]

This is the first post of 2012! Hope everyone danced their ass off on New Years.

First three songs are my favourites, amazing remix by Heren of a fairly unknown track by Hypster.

Panic City turn the second best song on the Drive soundtrack into a club anthem and Special Features dominates once again on the popular Dada Life track 'Happy Violence'.

Everyone must have heard Skrillex's Avicii remix by now, love it.

Nicky Romero is going to have a big year I feel, that Toulouse track is amazing.

Dada Life - Kick Out The Epic MotherF*cker

Hmmm love the breakdown mid song but the drop lacks melody, I find it a bit repetitious and dull... Still a really good track, but nowhere near Happy Violence, Fight Club or White Noise.

Dada Life - Happy Violence

New Dada Life!

I like it, but it lacks the mass destruction White Noise or Fight Club brought to the dance floor.

Still definitely a banger, Dada synths never fail.

Pick N Mix [Vol. 4]

Volume 4 brings the usual assortment of various genres.
We got HypeM Heavyweights RAC (Remix Artist Collective),
A surprisingly commendable Britney Remix and the usual dose of Electro Artisans.

A track for all

Its 6am, i woke up early to do uni work but what the hell. enjoy.

electro - AWOOGA, many negative comments i see on the youtube clip but i thoroughly enjoy this track and foresee remixes and mashups done with it.

Mashup - The White Panda smashed Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' with 08's anthem 'infinity' by Guru Josh Project. yum.

Progressive/House - 'Tomorrow (Give in to the night)' by Dada Life, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike was a 2010 release but this revamp by Pedro Henriques & Digital LAB is massiv. its been spinning on my ipod this last week and i suspect it will be spinning @ Ultrafest this weekend.

Trance - with respect to the ASOT 500 events coming up around the world, i thought it would be appropriate to throw in a trance track. although this ones not an Armada records, Ferry Corstens Flashover Records spat out remixes for his classic 'Punk'. Its got a mental drop. Arty is so underrated.

Calvin Harris - Awooga

The White Panda - Infinite Dream

Dada Life, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike ft. Tara McDonald - Tomorrow (Pedro Henriques & Digital LAB Mix)

Hard Rock Sofa, St. Brothers - Blow Up (Thomas Gold vs. Axwell)

Ferry Corsten - Punk (Arty Rock-N-Rolla Mix)

I have always propagated Swedish duo Dada Life's music, they have a unique sound with drops that hardly ever disappoint. I know these two tracks and fairly old but they seem to be getting alot of attention recently. Not their best, but not bad. Also in this post, two classic tracks that have been given a slight remix. Proxy's "Raven" was one of the first electro tracks that I really liked back in the good ol' days in Sydney and Wippenberg's "Pong" was one of the great tracks of 2009. Also check out the Gorillaz and an awesome mash up of Deadmau5 and Far East Movement.

Dada Life - Unleash The Fucking Dada

Martin Solveig & Dragonette - Hello (Dada Life Remix)

Proxy - Raven (Laidback Luke Remix)
